HP Deskjet 895CXI User Manual

As the dominant manufacturer in the InkJet Printer sector, HP has spent years of research in to bringing us the highest spec printers that consume the lowest amount of ink. Although they succeeded to do that in the past few years, back in 2002. that wasn’t the case. At that point the HP Deskjet 895CXI was one of the cheapest available printers, but the long term running cost were quite the killer. Each ink cartridge was sold separate and costed quite a sum of money.

That aside, the print speed was decent, the color quality was in pair with the competition and the technology of that era, and the paper handling was made in a robust way so that the roller could enjoy a longer life-span, which is also the reason why this model is still popular within smaller businesses and home offices.

When it comes to the HP Deskjet 895CXI User Manual, you’re probably not going to be that lucky in finding the original version of it in paper form (although, even if you manage to find a 16 years old piece of paper, good luck in reading the smudged letters). Wireless printing was definitely one of the break through technologies within the printing sector. Not only did it finally get rid of the cords around the office, but we also got the opportunity to expand to cloud printing and remove all the IP networking mess we used until that point.

Unfortunately the same technology was quite expensive in the start, but later on HP introduced a separate line-up of AiO’s Wireless DeskJet printers, which were quite a surprise at that point. Basically, for a few hundred dollars you would get a device like the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2545 Wifi All-in-One Color Printer, which would have all the features of a regular printer + a wireless module added on to it. Quite useful if you’re tired of cords lying around the office. But, more features means more issues, and when it comes to setting up a wireless printer, the only thing which can help you out is patience and a good user manual.

HP LaserJet P2055 Toner Cartridges

HP Laserjet P2055 Toner Cartridges

The HP LaserJet P2055 Monochrome Printer was a member of the line-up which compete with Epson and their laser solutions within the $1000 price range, the only difference is that this model was priced more aggressively, with around $899 per unit. That price point, combined with the features it held, placed it on the top lists of best buy laser printers in the year 2009.

Sure, there were some smaller issues here and there for which you would either need the right user manual to troubleshoot it, but nothing which a a skilled hand or a maintenance kit couldn’t solve.

Which toner cartridges to buy for the HP LaserJet P2055

Regarding the consumables, the P2055dn can fit the HP 05a normal yield toner cartridges or the HP 05X high yield toner cartridges.  The same models are also going under the name HP CE505X or HP CE505A. The good news here is that the high yield ones can print up to 6500 pages, the bad news is that they cost a lot, and I mean *a lot*. If you’re going with the genuine HP 05X Toner Cartridges, you can expect to pay up to $190 for one package, or $360 for the 2-pack solution, which, as the name implies, offers two cartridges within one package.

If you want to go with the dark side, then you can take a look at the re-manufactured cartridges from Inksters or a similar third party manufacturer, they usually sell them for less then $100, depending on the season.

Back in 2009 when the HP LaserJet P2055dn came out, I was amazed by the huge amount of features this laser printer offered for a price below $1000. With its fast printing mode, really good print quality, sturdy design and security features of equal strength, it was quite a surprise HP didn’t price it above that price. The only part which was a bit annoying was the way HP was managing network connectivity with this specific set of drivers, so connecting the P2055dn to your network will still ask for more effort then other printers within the same price range. Regarding the cost of maintaining such a beast were the higher priced toner cartridges, which, in return, did come with around 6500 page yield.

The bottom line, though, is that this particular model can take care of small to medium sized offices without breaking sweat, even today with all of these shiny color printers on the market. Sure, here and there you will have to replace the cartridges, the drum unit or even play around with the replacement parts, but they just don’t make them like this anymore, especially now with such extensive PDF manuals as the one which comes with this particular model.

Where can I download the HP LaserJet P2055 User Manual?

Searching for the right download link can be quite troublesome nowadays, not only is it hard to find a secure website which doesn’t ask for payment details, but it’s also questionable if you’re actually going to get the manual after your register. Luckily, that’s not the case with ShareDF, a secure and free website which offers over 5000 user manuals as a free download, with your HP LaserJet P2055 User Manual between all of them. Download the HP LaserJet 4250n User Manual

LaserJet 4250n User Manual

Just last week we covered the HP Laserjet 4250n Q5421A Maintenance Kit topic, where we were explaining that our beloved 4250n managed to survive over 5 years of constant printing without any major hiccups. That didn’t came as a surprise though, because the machine was well taken care of most of the time. It always had a fresh package of toner cartridges to munch on, and the maintenance kit was well used through those years.

The smartest thing which we did when it comes to the HP 4250n User Manual is that we scanned it, uploaded it to a Dropbox folder together with all of the other devices we had in our office, including the simple things like the coffee machine and microwave, and shared the folder with all of our co-workers. That way whenever someone would need access to a specific manual, he would have it in PDF with that folder – quite smart, no?

The 4250n User Manual can be found below this article, but in case you’re having some serious issue with your printer, be sure to check out our troubleshooting guide under this link: HP Printer Not Printing.

Where to download the HP LaserJet 4250n User Manual?

Now, when it comes to your own needs, you’re probably here because you’re in need of the same document – worry not, we uploaded it and it’s available as a free download over at ShareDF. It’s a website which hosts over 5000 different user manuals in a safe and secure way, free of charge. Between those 5k files is also your HP LaserJet 4250n User Manual paired with the Service Manual. HP Laserjet 4250n Q5421A Maintenance Kit

1
HP LaserJet 4250n Fuser Kit Q5421A

I have only good memories of our HP Laserjet 4250n, not only was it a proper work horse in terms of printing, it was also quite cheap to maintain. For the starting price of $1249 you didn’t only get a sturdy and well built device supporting XL toner cartridges, the device also came with several spare parts, including an additional drum unit. Sure, the toner cartridges were expensive, but you could print out 20,000 pages at a 5 percent ink coverage with no issues. The overall cost per page are among the lowest we had, and the printer is still to this day working happily in a smaller subsidiary of our company.

But, as with all heroes, it comes a time when they don’t shine don’t shine that bright anymore, but nothing which can’t be fixed.  With the HP Laserjet 4250n that time comes after around 220,000 are printed out, then you’ll see a little light on the LCD screen blinking for help. Worry not, HP knew about it and this is why they prepared the HP Laserjet 4250n Q5421A Maintenance Kit.

Not all 4250n Maintenance Kits are made the same, which one should you buy?

To answer your question, one would first need to know what exactly do you want. Is a specific part already broken and you just need a quick replacement part or do you want to buy a general maintenance kit to serve you for the years to come?

The most common replacement part within these kits is the fuser (RM1-1082), so if you just need that specific part, then your cheapest bet is to go with the Q5421A Fuser Kit, which is compatible with your model and will cost around $60.

In case you want to go with the whole box which includes the Fuser, Transfer roller, separation roller with gloves and all the removal tools which one would need during the replacement process, then your best bet is to go with the full Q5421A Maintenance Kit. That one will cost you around $250, depending on the seller and if you’re buying a new or refurbished one. on what exactly is broken within your printer and what do you want to achieve with the maintenance kit which you want to buy.

In case you, at one point, get lost with the whole re-installation process, feel free to consult the manual of the device, which can be found under this link: HP Laserjet 4250n user manual

HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw Drivers

MFP M175nw Driver Download

Through my career as a printer repair specialist I stumbled on several MFP M175nw owners struggling with the initial setup of the device. Little did they know that this particular model had some issues with the drivers that are delivered on the CD with the printer.

So, basically, everyone would just install those and try out their luck with their print job. Unfortunately that’s not as easy as it sounds since the MFP M175nw was well known for causing issues when working under the day zero drivers delivered on the Installation CD (which came with the printer).

To solve that, the only thing one would need to do is head over to HP’s Driver page and download the updated HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw Drivers. If you’re on Windows 10, the last update was in October of 2014., which includes a 135.6 MB file, which can be downloaded under this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/HP-LaserJet-100-color-Multifunction-Printer-series/4208157/model/4208024/swItemId/kj-95222-3

Once you install the latest version you can try to finish your print job and see if the problem is solved. If not, the best bet would be to get the user manual and go through the troubleshooting process, maybe even pair it with the general HP error code list and try your best in figuring out what’s bothering your machine.

HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw Imaging Drum

HP CE314A Imaging Drum Unit

We already covered several topics around the MFP M175nw this month. Last week we were talking about the toner cartridges, where we concluded that the best bet is to go with the remanufactured units, either from All City or from Inksters, and this week we’re going to walk you through purchasing a compatible MFP M175nw Imaging Drum.

The model with which you want to go is the HP 126A Imaging Drum Unit, which is also going under the model name HP CE314A. Although they are priced quite high, they do yield around 14,000 pages, which is more or less the industry standard for imaging drums.

If you want to buy a HP CE314A, you’re having two options; either go with the genuine HP 126 Imaging Drum unit which will cost around $99, or you can go with third party manufacturers like Inkster, which have a Remanufactured Drum Unit for HP CE314A for around $84. Now, although I’m a big fan of the remanufacturing industry, I wouldn’t recommend skimping on the Imaging Drum in this case.

Go for the genuine MFP M175nw Imaging Drum solution

The thing is, with a yield of 14,000 pages you can expect to have that little piece of plastic within your printer for the next three years, which is quite a long time for a replacement part. Thus, to me, it makes more sense adding an additional $15 to go with a higher quality model which can give you a long term peace of mind then experimenting with different third party models.

But, at the end of the day it’s your budget, I’m here just to recommend you the the options, which are, as mentioned above, the genuine HP model and the Inkster one. Just be sure to go through the MFP M175nw user manual if it’s your first time replacing one, since it can get quite ugly if you don’t know how to handle drum units.

HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw Toner Cartridges

The HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw had quite a unique way of handling toner cartridges. It offered a rotary toner cartridge system which was consisting of our regular CMYK configuration divided in to four separate compartments: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. Having four different compartments doesn’t only mean that you can spend the ink in a more controlled way, but you also have to refill each one of them as they slowly empty themselves through printing, which can get quite pricey after a while.

Note: Toner Cartridges and Imaging Drums are not the same. If you need to replace your MFP M175nw Imaging Drum then you can find our guide on how to do it under this link.

HP MFP M175nw Compatible Toner Cartridges

In terms of compatible toners, you want to go with the HP 126A series of toner cartridges, which are not only available within their genuine format, but also from third party manufacturers under the name “remanufactured HP 126A toner cartridges“. As already mentioned above, you will have to go either with four separate cartridges or buy one black sample and one tri-pack which features the colored cartridges.

In terms of pricing, if you want to go with genuine toner cartridges, expect to pay around $60 for separate cartridges and around $179 for the tri-pack models. If you’re willing to try out remanufactured ones, expect to pay around 30% less on each unit, depending on the manufacturer.

Personally, I would recommend to go with the All City Replacement Toner for HP Compatible 126A, for the $45 you get quite a lot of ink, so it’s definitely an option worth considering. After you order the cartridges and get them on your desk, your best bet would be to consult the User Manual and follow the cartridge replacement guide.

MFP M175nw User Manual

HP was never backing off of names which are a mouthful, and the HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw is not different. Luckily, the same applies to the amount of features which this laser multi function printer offers, even reaching out for cloud printing, which was one of the more exotic functions 7 years ago.

Back in 2011 the MFP M175nw was mainly targeting small or home office users, which wanted the quality of a laser printer packed in to the price and casing of an inkjet. On top of that, it featured cloud printing support which, although a bit troublesome during the initial setup, worked quite well for a $300 laser printer.

One more surprise though, but not so welcoming, was the toner cartridge system. This model used a somewhat unique rotary system, quite new at that point, which caused to many headaches, not only to the owners but also the service department. The imaging drum was also a case of it’s own, but can (luckily) still be found online, not only on Amazon, but also on several other ink outlets. We wrote about it a few weeks ago so in case you need to replace it be sure to go through our MFP M175nw Imaging Drum guide.

The MFP M175nw User Manual can be found below this article, but in case you’re having some serious issue with your printer, be sure to check out our troubleshooting guide under this link: HP Printer Not Printing.

Where to download the HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw User Manual?

Although some of the well known problems can be solved with a simple driver update, the smartest thing which you can do is download the MFP M175nw User Manual and go through their troubleshooting guide. If you want to dig even deeper you can go through the error codes list and pair it with the info from the manual.

To download the user manual, simply go over to ShareDF, there is a PDF version of it available for download, free of charge.
